Benny Hinn Crusade: Funding Unclear, Rain of Blessing in Nairobi

Benny Hinn’s recent crusade at Nairobi’s Nyayo Stadium has sparked spiritual gifts and intense debate as Kenyans associate it with welcome rainfall, and others question its funding and Hinn’s theological perspectives.

First Lady Mama Rachel Ruto, who also attended the crusade, clarified that Kenyan churches, not the government, fully funded the event.

Archbishop Harrison Nganga

The crusade marks Hinn’s return to Kenya after a 23-years. Archbishop Harrison Nganga was the organizing committee chairperson, who also clarified and emphasized that the event was coordinated and supported by churches and well-wishers within Kenya.

Despite the disagreement, the crusade has drawn large crowds from different parts of Kenya and out of the country. Among the attendees was user Churchill Omondi, who lightheartedly thanked Benny Hinn for making it rain in Nairobi.

However, known critics like gospel musician Reuben Kigame condemn Hinn’s teachings and question his reasons for visiting Kenya.
